Sarah has a way of pushing you really hard without having to shout, she makes you believe that you can complete what seems to be a never ending session. When I retired 2 years ago I decided to book some personal training sessions to improve my general fitness and to banish my bingo wings!!! Sarah became my personal trainer and I try to have a session with her every two weeks. Sarah uses a mixture of cardio and weights with added tummy exercises to really push me for the hour, no two sessions are the same. There are times when I cannot finish that third rep and Sarah kindly moves on to another exercise, but don't be fooled, she takes you back and makes you do that final rep, even if you say no!!! My training sessions with Sarah really have made a difference, I am stronger, the bingo wings are almost gone and I feel much healthier. I would strongly recommend her. Don't be fooled by her kind exterior, she knows what she is doing and really makes you work hard, but it is good fun.

When I first started my workouts with Sarah I advised her I had serious problems with my right knee and she showed me the proper ways to do my exercise classes without putting strain on my knee. Sarah is excellent and knew exactly how far to push me in our Boxercise sessions without pushing me over the edge. Within a short space of time I had increased my fitness levels massively and felt so much better in my everyday life. Sarah has also done pre season Boxercise classes for my son’s football team(currently 14 yrs old) who love the sessions she does either in the gym or the park and we will be using her every season to kick start them into the season.

Sarah has been my personal trainer now for over a year, I work on shifts and Sarah manages to accommodate this, booking training sessions for me every other week. I used to teach fitness myself which made me extra fussy about who trained me, Sarah has by far surpassed my expectations. Each training session is different with an array of effective exercises, I have found that I have become more toned and my strength has increased. I hate to admit it but I really look forward to my training sessions with Sarah, the results I have obtained makes the work I put into each session very worthwhile.

I joined Esporta Clearview club about 5 years ago now and started training with Sarah soon after. I wanted to improve my fitness and get into shape - as any young girl does I suppose! I was very embarrassed to go into the gym and train in front of other people on my own, but learning with Sarah gave me the confidence I was looking for. She is very kind, understanding and encouraging to me and I quickly caught the bug and got into training 3/4 times a week. I especially found a solace in running - a good chance to clear your head I find! - and Sarah helped me devise a programme to get my stamina up. She also encouraged me to enter 5k's and 10k's and I absolutely loved it. I had a big accident last year that left my ankle very damaged and the recovery processed was long, but Sarah was most patient and helped me through the time with exercises designed to keep me motivated, build my strength, and her determination to not let me go back on all our hard work was wonderful. She has really changed my outlook on life and myself for good. I set my goals higher, and achieve so much more thanks to Sarah's guidance and, above all, she's been a wonderful friend throughout. I am now signed up to a 10k this October and thoroughly loving exploring all different types of exercise - boxercise, kettlebell training, and dare I say it - I'm very thankful for the lunges as I have just bought my first ever pair of skinny jeans!

I went to Sarah not only to lose weight and increase fitness but for extra training in preparation for the Blenheim Triathlon - an event I would have struggled a great deal in if not for Sarah's advice and support. While training with Sarah not only did I feel the benefits in terms of fitness and weight loss but I felt mentally stronger, and happier.

I have a niggling long term injury which Sarah has always taken into account during our sessions. After recovering from a re-occurrence over the Summer I will be looking to Sarah to again give me the support, guidance and the kick up the proverbial to lose weight and maintain a healthy weight and level of fitness.

I am so pleased that I decided to train with Sarah to get in shape for my wedding. Sarah is extremely personable and so she can keep you going throughout the most difficult training session! No two sessions are the same; Sarah works hard to keep each training session different to motivate you throughout. Personally I find Sarah fantastic to work with, as she listens to what you want to achieve, and she makes the goal possible by pushing you further than you would ever push yourself!

Having played squash for many years with constant pressure on the lower back and knees, I decided to join a gym for core strength and to ensure in later years I was not bent double. Being tall, I have a tendency to stoop, thus causing constant back ache. I was assigned Sarah Ransom as my personal fitness instructor and since then my I have gone from strength to strength. My posture is now correcting itself and my fitness improved. Thanks to Sarah's patience, excellent training methods and constant monitoring, I now look forward to a healthier way of life.

I have trained with Sarah over the last two years and it has been very rewarding. My preference is to do half hour cardio work with her and then move onto weights and core stability work. I chose to do cardio work with her as she pushes me far harder than I would push myself, and yet recognizes my limit i.e. when I really can't give anymore! When I started I could barely do one sit up, but I was soon doing 30 at a time in sets after a little bit of hard work and application!

When exercising on my own I used to get bored doing the same things so I would soon lose discipline, but with Sarah I have both a variety of exercise and absolute focus, which has really helped.

I would recommend Sarah's sessions to anyone wanting to keep fit or tone up. Sarah makes every session different and challenging. We make good use of different equipment in the gym; weights, kettlebells, boxercise - Sarah caters for the individual. In my case, I have a dodgy back, which she is aware of and adjusts my workout accordingly. She is very knowledgeable, always bright and breezy, cheerful and chatty - so that time flies. She keeps you going when you would give up if you were on your own. My fitness levels have improved and I feel more toned. Will definitely keep it up.

My friend and I have been going to Sarah for some months, once every 3/4 weeks at Clearview for personal training. Sarah is great, she makes you feel very relaxed about what state of fitness you are at, does all round training so you feel your body has had a great workout and you know the next day you are going to ache - you are pushed beyond the boundaries you would even attempt in the gym on your own. I started training with Sarah 9 months ago when I had a heel injury. Sarah provided a variety of exercises that did not aggravate my injury and helped to get me fit while my heel recovered. I have now fully recovered, I am getting back into running regularly, but I intend to continue to train with Sarah as I have seen the benefits of regular and varied training. I train from home and Sarah provides a variety of equipment making every session different and challenging. I would never have considered using weights or boxing. Sarah is very experienced and ensures that all exercises are done with the correct posture to prevent injury. I have been surprised by the improvement in my performance.
